Mission Statement
The mission of The Magi is to provide the opportunity to those who desire to follow the biblical example of anonymous giving to the poor and needy, widows and orphans, and those in the Lord's service.
The Basics
- The Magi is based on Matthew 6:3-4 “…But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret”, where anonymous giving is truly the way God has intended giving to be. Learn more about Our Vision

Our History
The Magi began in 1995 when a local Grand Rapids, MI couple wanted to give their Suburban anonymously to another family who, due to financial hardships, could not afford to replace their irreparable car.
After searching for an organization that offered those services and coming up empty, they decided to create a way for others to be able to do the same type of giving. They found a lawyer who specialized in starting 501(c)3 non-profit organizations and so began The Magi.
After only a few years, by word of mouth only, The Magi became an international tool that anonymous givers have used to further God's kingdom through their generosity. As mentioned above, over five million dollars has been received and donated over the past 10 years.
